Big Brother

Big Brother

Big Brother is an AI video intelligence platform that connects to existing CCTV infrastructure, analyzes live video streams using computer vision, and converts real-world activity into structured data, real-time alerts, and business insights — purpose-built for industrial and commercial operations.

Project Overview

Every factory, warehouse, and retail floor already has cameras. Most of them record footage that no one ever watches unless something goes wrong. Big Brother changes what those cameras are for. It connects to existing CCTV infrastructure — no hardware replacement, no new cabling — and puts computer vision models behind every feed. What was passive recording becomes active intelligence: the system watches, understands, and reports on what is actually happening across the operation, continuously and without fatigue.

The detection capabilities are built for industrial environments. Big Brother monitors worker activity and identifies safety violations in real time — missing hard hats, missing safety vests, people in restricted zones — and fires an immediate alert before an incident becomes an accident. It tracks production line status, flags idle equipment or stoppages, and monitors material flow across the floor. Vehicle and forklift movement is tracked through the facility. Headcount and shift presence are logged automatically. Anything the camera can see, the system can be trained to understand and measure.

Real-time alerts are only half the picture. Big Brother surfaces everything in a dedicated dashboard — live feeds with AI annotations, event logs, detection summaries, and trend reports across any time range. Managers see not just what is happening now but what patterns have emerged over days, shifts, and weeks. Which zones have the highest safety incident rate? Which production line loses the most time to stoppages? Which shifts consistently underperform? The answers are in the footage — Big Brother extracts them automatically.

The models are fine-tuned for the specific environments they operate in. Generic computer vision performs well in controlled lab conditions; real factories are different. Lighting changes across shifts, layouts differ between facilities, and the workflows, clothing, equipment, and processes at a manufacturing plant in Palestine have specific characteristics that off-the-shelf models were never trained on. Every Big Brother deployment goes through a fine-tuning process against the actual environment — so the system recognises what matters in that facility with the accuracy the application demands.

Big Brother is currently live as a working pilot at Izdehar Animal Feed — a 200+ employee production facility where the platform monitors worker safety compliance, production line activity, and facility movement in real time. The pilot is validating detection performance, alert reliability, and dashboard usability under real operational conditions. From manufacturing, the platform is being extended into retail, logistics, and warehouse environments — each with their own detection models, their own metrics, and their own definition of what the cameras should be watching for. The infrastructure is the same. The intelligence is specific to each.
