Baraka
Baraka is a complete restaurant and café management SaaS — giving independent F&B owners a POS app, a multi-branch admin console, and real-time analytics, on any device, with no hardware required.Project Overview
Most café and restaurant owners run their business the same way: WhatsApp voice messages from branch managers, a stack of paper receipts at the end of the month, and an instinct for what's selling. It works — until it doesn't. The moment a second branch opens, the seams start to show. Baraka was built to close that gap. We designed and developed a full F&B management platform for restaurant and café owners — built around the way they actually work, deployable on the phone already in their pocket.
The name (بركة) means blessing in Arabic — abundance, goodness, things going right. That's not an accident. The brand promise is simple: focus on your food, Baraka handles the rest. The platform gives owners a POS app that runs on any iOS or Android device (no expensive dedicated hardware), connected to a web-based admin console where they can see every branch, every order, and every number in real time. Order status flows from dine-in and takeaway through preparation, ready, and received — every step visible from the console, no shouting across the kitchen required.
The analytics layer is where Baraka earns its keep. Owners get a live dashboard showing top-selling products, peak hour heatmaps, and branch-by-branch performance comparisons — the kind of data that used to require a finance team, now available at a glance. Staff management is built in too: each team member logs into the POS with their own PIN, creating a clear record of who did what. Staff loans and advances are tracked in the system instead of a notebook. Per-branch product pricing means a chain can run different menus at different price points without any manual reconciliation.
The design decisions behind Baraka reflect a deep understanding of the market. Most POS tools are built for large retail chains — they require expensive hardware, weeks of setup, and training programs that don't fit how independent operators actually work. Local alternatives are either absent or trapped in outdated enterprise paradigms. Baraka sits in neither category. It is a modern, clean product that works in a browser with nothing to install, runs on the hardware owners already own, and is designed to feel familiar and fast from day one. The positioning is not "enterprise software" — it is the operating system of a real business, accessible to anyone who runs one.
Baraka is the operating system for the modern F&B business. Ingredients deduct automatically as products are sold — the system knows before the owner does when a branch is running low on stock. Staff clock in and out through the same POS they already use, and timesheets build themselves. Customers scan a QR code at the table, browse the full menu on their phone, and order without waiting for someone to come to them. Loyal customers are recognised and rewarded. Salaries are calculated in the same place everything else is tracked. Deliveries are managed without switching to a separate tool. Every layer of the business — operations, inventory, people, customers — runs through one platform, on any device, from anywhere.
