Baraka

Baraka is an integrated point-of-sale system built for the way shops, cafés and restaurants in the region actually trade. One screen takes the order, opens and closes the till, moves a table on the floor plan, and keeps the stock behind it in step — so a busy service never waits on a second piece of software.

The product is Arabic-first rather than translated, and that decided the layout before anything else : the whole interface reads right to left, and the density of a till screen had to survive the change without losing its rhythm. Over it sits a brand built on a single vivid orange, warm enough for a counter and strong enough to stay legible on a terminal across the room.
