Yes Theater

Yes Theater makes theatre with and for children, and everything it does — the productions, the summer school, the work it takes on tour, the stage it runs for adults — had been announced a post at a time and never gathered anywhere. The site is that gathering : the season is what the page opens on, each strand of the programme has a place of its own, and a parent looking for the next thing their child can be part of finds it without asking anybody.

It is Arabic-first rather than translated, so the whole interface reads right to left and the type had to hold a headline in Arabic at the size the design wanted it. What fills it is the company's own photography — its performers, mid-performance, in front of the audience they were made for — because a theatre is the one thing that cannot be shown with a stock library.
